Abstract:
The strain- or temperature-coefficient of Brillouin frequency shift is shown to be a quadratic function of draw-tension during fiber fabrication. The coefficients decrease by 1.48 % and 1.61 % respectively for a unit mol% increase of GeO2 concentration.
