Abstract:
Standard-Cell Integrated Power Electronics Module (SC-IPEM) was proposed for both integrated motor drives and integrated PFC circuit. It has a 3D structure based on the Embedded Power Technology with improved electrical, thermal and mechanical performance. The detailed fabrication procedure and improvements are introduced. Preliminary test results are given. The optimization of this SC-IPEM from an electric field point view is investigated. Some improved structures are proposed and simulated. The simulation results showed that the electric field performance can be optimized in terms of voltage rating.
