Abstract:
This paper analyzes motion errors of wide beamwidth airborne SAR and proposes an overlapped block processing method for wide beamwidth motion compensation. The rationale and processing steps of this method are introduced in detail. To validate this method, point targets and an image with different motion errors, low-frequency and high-frequency ones, are tested. Compared with narrow beamwidth motion compensation algorithms, the proposed method has better performance.
