Abstract:
Chernobyl Sarcophagus undergoes various structural changes that require its continuous precise monitoring in order to have a possibility to identify probable critical states of the Sarcophagus construction. Earlier we have suggested to apply Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) designed on the basis of Noise Radar Technology and SAR Differential Interferometric Techniques for fast, precise and all weather monitoring of the Sarcophagus. In the paper we present preliminary results in implementation of that approach in Millimeter Wave band.
