Abstract:
This paper presents voltages produced by transients on grounding grids, which are caused by lightning surges. The TLM (Transmission Line Method) is employed together with different models of underground conductors or transmission lines in computational simulations. This numeric technique has been chosen, because the correct contour conditions can be obtained easily and the representation of different kinds of loads is achieved.
