Abstract:
We studied the life characteristics of LiCoO2 based lithium-ion batteries for mobile phones using a high-temperature acceleration technique. The charge/discharge cycle and storage life of the batteries were systematically examined at 50deg C. We also examined the synergistic effect of combining these two elements. The results indicated that the generation and destruction of the solid electrolyte interface were closely related to the life characteristics of lithium-ion batteries.
