Abstract:
Full C+L-band 2-core fibre transmission is experimentally demonstrated with five spans for a total distance of 573 km. The transmission capacity of 126 Tb/s is achieved with the longest span length for weakly-coupled multi-core fibres, which is enabled by ultra-low-loss fibres and fan-in/fan-out devices.
