Abstract:
We propose a DSP architecture for a frequency-interleaving analog-to-digital converter (FI-ADC) based on parallel processing. Experimental results show successful recovery of 16 GBaud data signals using a FI-ADC built from a 4 GHz/10 GSps scope, representing a promising solution for future high-speed optical transceivers.
