Abstract:
Using three cascaded silicon phase modulators, a high-repetition-rate electro-optic frequency comb is generated and filtered to isolate two optical carriers spaced by 150 GHz, with a 0.16 dB nonuniformity and 60 dB tone-to-noise ratio, ideal for 300 Gbaud dual-carrier transmission.
