Abstract:
We propose a subcarrier-multiplexed access system enabled by a digital coherent OLT supporting QAM and legacy OOK signals. Combined with developed design criteria and optimised DSP algorithms such as pre/post dispersion compensation, we achieve a power budget better than 31 dB after 50-km SMF transmission.
