Abstract:
In this contribution we discuss the combination of two photon lithography (2PL) and C,H insertion crosslinking (CHic) for the generation of magnetic micro actuators. The structures are written in a solid pre-polymer which contains a small number of photoreactive groups for photocrosslinking in the focus of the 2PL laser. The material is also filled with magnetic nanoparticles which later on makes the microstructures responsive to a dynamic magnetic field. We will show how complex actuators can be generated. The actuators can be spread out over a fairly large field an almost all structures that were generated also react to the magnetic stimulus. This makes them perfect candidates for use in microfluidic systems e.g. to transport liquids.
