MetaSensing StarSAR-X System Design

Abstract:
MetaSensing has been commissioned the production of a StarSAR-X for the NOX mission, part of the Italian IRIDE constellation, providing an active phased array X band SAR payload. Thanks to its large variety of different SAR imaging modes and its high operational flexibility, the StarSAR-X can serve users from both the industrial and governmental sector. The paper describes the payload instrument system design and qualification tests.
