Abstract:
The performance and efficiency of drive solutions in warp knitting machines depends to a large extent on their respective degree of optimization. The requirements of warp knitting machines range from highly dynamic and productive to highly flexible. This demands a high degree of segmentation of drive solutions. The presented approach shows a modular system to make the resulting number of variants manageable, combined with digital models of the respective modules. These digital models further accelerate the design and decision process already in early machine design phases.
