Abstract:
The along-track distributed SAR system can form the equivalent monostatic multichannel SAR system, which has the ability of high resolution and wide swath coverage. Data reconstruction is one of the core steps in signal processing. The weighted backprojection algorithm (WBPA) is performed for the data reconstruction process in this paper. The reconstruction performance of WBPA is evaluated based on the simulation experiment. Results show that the orbit error and topography variation will influence the reconstruction result and should be controlled within a certain amount. The simulation experiments show that the WBPA is an effective method for along-track distributed SAR imaging.
