Abstract:
LuTan-1 (referred as LT-1) mission is the first bistatic spaceborne SAR mission for civil applications in China, which contains two full-polarimetric L-band SAR satellites operating with flexible flight configurations. The main objectives are to acquire the global digital terrain models with high accuracy and spatial resolution, and to monitor the surface deformations with millimetre accuracy at large scale. For the former one, two satellites fly in a Helix formation and an advanced non-interrupt synchronization scheme is proposed. Moreover, the corresponding the synchronization devices, synchronization pulse transceiving timing, the internal calibration network and processing flow are established. In this paper, this non-interrupted phase synchronization scheme is described in a systematic perspective.
