Abstract:
Bi- and multi-static Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) missions are destined to face ambiguities not only as uncorrelated noise-like sources but also as correlated sources of interferometric biases and of coherence modulation. In this paper it is provided a formal derivation of the geometry conditions under which the ambiguities can be considered as correlated. Furthermore, for the case of the Harmony mission, the expected biases are assessed for ocean and land products.
