RADARSAT-2 Mission Status

Abstract:
RADARSAT-2 is a radar Earth-Observation mission that has been operated by MDA for over fourteen years. The spacecraft continues to perform extremely well while exceeding many of its design requirements. The system availability has been maintained at a high level thanks to careful system monitoring and continuously improving operational processes. This paper will provide a synopsis of the mission operational performance to date, the status of key elements of the system and describe an example of RADARSAT-2 operations active risk mitigation related to the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS).
