Abstract:
The paper deals with the development of a new test bench for the investigation of the properties of soft magnetic materials. On the one hand, measurements in accordance with the standards can be carried out up to high frequency ranges. On the other hand, the systematic investigation of the influence of harmonics in the magnetic flux is supposed to be possible. A special feature of the test bench is the specially adapted measurement equipment, which was developed and built in-house. A central FPGA realizes all important functionalities such as the control of the test stand, the feedback control, the acquisition and processing of measured values as well as the monitoring of all measured variables and measuring ranges. In the paper, the special features of the test bench and the measurement equipment are shown, as well as measurements of their frequency dependence. An analysis of the influence of the frequency dependence on the reliability of the meas-urement results and corresponding measurements at different frequencies and excitations rounds off the article.
