Abstract:
The transformation in the German mobility sector and the corresponding expansion of the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles will increasingly lead to challenges and changes for the energy supply system in the future. Since the corresponding charging devices can often be controlled, these challenges can be met by using the potentially available flexibility of the charging processes. In this paper, the charging behaviour and the flexibility potential usable by load shifting will be simulated at different charging locations and compared regarding the derived monetary added value.
