Abstract:
This paper establishes a quadratically constrained optimization model to suppress azimuth ambiguity and noise simultaneously in signal reconstruction process for a multichannel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system. This optimization model extends the theory of multichannel signal processing for reconstructing the SAR signal from the aliased signals. Besides, with the use of the quadratically constrained optimization model , one can obtain a lowest noise level under a constraint of total azimuth ambiguity power suppression. Finally, reconstruction performances are investigated with respect to the pulse repetition frequency (PRF). In addition, distributed scene simulation is also performed to verify the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed approach
