Abstract:
Copernicus/ESA Sentinel-1 C-band SAR constellation mission is now operating since 2014. All Sentinel-1 products acquired over ocean are systematically processed into Level-2 Ocean products (L2OCN) by ESA PDGS and disseminated to the users through the Copernicus webportal. Since its first dissemination, the processing of products have been upgraded several times to improve the quality of the wind, waves or radial velocity measurements. These changes can be due to improvements of the Level-1 products (eg. better product calibration) or to the processing of the Level-2 (eg. better bright target removal for the wind products). The performances of the L2OCN products are presented for the latest processor version. A brief summary of the main changes that occurred since the beginning of the L2OCN products dissemination is also recalled.
