Abstract:
The NovaSAR-1 small radar imaging satellite was launched in September 2018. Since then commissioning has been completed and the satellite has entered service with the mission partners. In this paper the authors present an overview of the mission including its novel aspects. Imaging results achieved since launch are also described. New modes have been designed and implemented, and performance exceeds mission expectations.
