Advances in PAZ products geometric analysis

Abstract:
PAZ is the X-Band SAR satellite of the Spanish National Program for Earth Observation from Satellite (PNOTS) launched in February 2018. After the geometric calibration performed during PAZ Commissioning Phase, a monitoring of the geometric constants is being carried out in order to analyse their temporal stability. Furthermore, a first analysis related to geocoded products geometry is being performed based on acquisitions over corner reflectors. This paper describes the method followed for geometric monitoring, but also includes the results of geocoded products geometric analysis. A brief description of the INTA calibration ground infrastructure used for these analyses is also included.
