Abstract:
Due to increasing variety of work pieces vacuum gripping systems have to be flexible and easy to adapt. In addition to that the current state of the system should be monitored. This works particularly well when the sensors are positioned as close to the suction cup as possible and not in the point of the central vacuum generation. In order to fulfil both of those requirements it is inevitable to use wireless sensors that can be placed in line at any position of the vacuum gripping system.
