Abstract:
The deceptive jamming within the main-lobe of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) may cause serious interference to SAR image. To tackle this problem, a frequency diverse array (FDA) based SAR processing scheme is proposed. Considering that the transmit steering vector of FDA depends on the actual range and angle of the scattering point, while the propagation paths of time-delay modulation based deceptive jamming and real target are different, which implies that the transmit frequency of jamming is mismatched with its position in SAR image. Therefore it can be suppressed in transmit frequency domain by implementing beam forming. In the end, the effectiveness is verified by simulations.
