Abstract:
A sub-band and sub-aperture scheme is proposed to achieve very high-resolution SAR image. The very-high range resolution is designed to achieve higher than 0.1 m resolution by step-frequency synthesize. The matched cross-range image is achieved by coherently synthesizing sub-aperture coarse images. And then, the fine image with the azimuth resolution corresponding to the full aperture data can be obtained. To overcome the instability of long integration time platform velocities, two-step motion compensation is applied to focus the very-high image. Experimental results are shown to demonstrate the proposed scheme.
