Abstract:
This paper presents a new method that improves the estimation of ionospheric phase screens, with respect to the split-spectrum method, and that is able to separate ground- from ionosphere-induced azimuth motion. It is based on a Bayesian combination of two single ionospheric phase screen estimates. One is obtained with the split-spectrum method; the other using the double derivative of the azimuth ionospheric variation, extracted from differential multisquint interferograms. In order to show the applicability of the method, preliminary results are presented.
