Abstract:
This manuscript focuses on signal processing for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) in staggered mode with low oversampling factors. A two-step processing scheme is proposed to recover the missing sampled data using the spectral-estimation techniques firstly and then reconstruct the in-band energy and minimize the ambiguity energy, which is from band unlimited SAR raw data, to obtain uniform sampling in azimuth. Both point targets simulation and artificial data generated from China S-band spaceborne SAR system, i.e., HJ-1-C, are shown to validate the proposed scheme.
