Abstract:
Starting from analyzing the corresponding relationship between SAR image resolution and signal bandwidth, a data block partition based fast factorized back projection algorithm (DBP-FFBPA) for bistatic SAR is proposed. By splitting the de-chirped and de-skewed data matrix, executing single point FFT operation in range direction, forming sub images and merging sub images recursively, the algorithm proposed in this paper improves the efficiency of back projection algorithm (BPA) greatly and maintains imaging precision at the same time. Simulation results have verified the validity of the proposed algorithm.
