Abstract:
In this paper we consider the resolution of circular synthetic aperture (CSAR) radar imaging by incoherent addition. Although incoherent addition makes a loss in phase information, it contributes to suppressing the sidelobe and object reconstruction in the process of imaging. Based on analysis of a point target with an assumption of flat two-dimensional, a general impulse response function (IRF) is derived for estimating the spatial resolutionof incoherent addition CSAR imaging. The result is useful for the selection of subaperture angle in incoherent addition imaging.
