Abstract:
A Matlab GUI is presented, which generates statistically correct distribution grid models. Such models are crucial to new applications development, such as monitoring or control; however, data on distribution grids is often inaccessible or insufficient. The proposed GUI enables generation of such grids by focusing on the topologically distinguishing features of distribution networks. New applications could be more robustly validated, by testing on ensembles of topologically similar grids, or over varying topological features.
