Abstract:
Coriolis mass flowmeters are widely used in process industry due to their high measurement accuracy. They are often used in applications, which are challenging for other measurement principles because of conductivity or density of the product or insufficient inlet zones. Up to now, the measurement of fluids with entrained gas, i.e. two phase flows, was the main drawback of Coriolis mass flowmeters. This paper presents our latest developments of Coriolis flowmeters with enhanced capabilities to handle entrained gas by providing continuous and reproducible measurement at any gasvoid ratio.
