Abstract:
For space-borne P band SAR system, ionospheric effects can cause serious errors and make SAR image quality deteriorate. This paper analyse the miss matched filter model caused by ionosphere, and put forward a high precision ionospheric TEC measurement method based on dual frequency SAR echo phase estimation. To verify the validation, use step frequency ISAR mode of groundwork P band radar penetrate ionosphere and observe spaceborne ISS target. The outcome of test data processing indicates that this method can increase ionospheric TEC measure precision effectively, and improve the result of ISAR imaging phase compensation. The method enlighten a way to settle low frequency space-borne SAR ionospheric problem.
