Abstract:
The article deals with the analysis and modeling of signal processing algorithm in spaceborne Low PRF Wide Swath (LPWS) SAR for ship traffic monitoring on the open sea surface. The proposed method of azimuth ambiguity suppression can be applied in LPSW SAR with mirror antenna. Considered the method of signal processing with the formation of point radar coherent portraits (PRCP) of ships, what facilitates their identification and allows creating the radar database banks of objects. The proposed methods are illustrated by processing of actual data obtained by SAR “Mech-KU” of satellite “Almaz-1”.
