Abstract:
The paper proposes a new approach for Kalman filter based phase unwrapping which is especially suited to obtain height information from interferometric SAR data when multiple acquisitions using different sensor baselines are available. In contrast to the original Kalman filter based phase unwrapping approach, the new approach estimates the position of the interferogram pixels directly instead of estimating the non-ambiguous phase. The main advantage of this approach is, that the locations of the data points of different interferograms can be directly fused.
