Abstract:
The paper aims at the revealing some dependence of the vertical location of the effective phase centers of the vegetated scattering volume on the season, and, in particular, negative or positive air temperatures. Analysis of 21 differential interferograms for the Siberian test site shows that phase differences between forested and nonforested patches have the opposite sign. In the paper the influence of the weather conditions (season, air temperature, precipitation, snow cover) on the phase difference and on the location of the effective phase centers are discussed.
