Abstract:
We mosaicked more than 500 scenes of PALSAR polarimetry data covering about 84% (320,000 km2) of land area in Japan, and computed several polarimetric decompositions. The preliminary results show that almost continuous coverage of polarimetry data in Japan area can be obtained from ALOS/PALSAR data with 30 meters resolution. 18.9% of pixels in land area are affected by lay-over due to the low incidence angle.
