Abstract:
In this paper, we study the stability of the fixed point in the current mode controlled DC/DC buck converter with switching delay. First, we explain the circuit dynamics. Next, we define the Poincar´e map by using the exact solution. Finally, we calculate the stability of the fixed point. In particular, we compare the stability in the ideal switching case, and show that the switching delay affects the first bifurcation.
