Abstract:
This paper presents a time-domain approach for synthetic image reconstruction applications called bistatic fast factorized backprojection. The idea of the algorithm is to recursively factorize both, the aperture positions and the target area. For veri??cation purposes, the formalism is applied to experimental measurements from a terahertz scanner that operates in a frequencymodulated continuous wave (FMCW) mode in a frequency range between 234 and 306 GHz. Parameter studies are presented for different factorization con??gurations.
