Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a novel segmentation method for Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar (PolSAR) images, where the spatial adaptivity is incorporated. In the proposed scheme, the size of segments and the extent of relationship between a pixel and its neighborhood depend on the complexity of different parts of the whole scene. The performance of the proposed method is presented and analyzed on an AIRSAR PolSAR data set.
