Abstract:
The electrical drive technology is highly affected by the application. The vehicle and its specific functions and applications determine the arrangements and selection of components. The essential components of electrical drives are normally installed under the bonnet covered in the under floor. They are inaccessible for training, instructions and advertising lessons. First a classification of typical drive technologies in mobile working machines shall be conducted. Examples of drive systems are shown. Examples of drive systems and electrical drive components from industrial trucks are displayed and explained. To show the electric drive technology in different aspects and in representative ways, it requires real, visible and working demonstrators. A concept of a realized electrical driven vehicle will be shown. This might be used as a platform for different analysis, instructions and advertising presentations. The concept is especially left open, which gives certain flexibility and more room for an interaction with different components and partners. The modular construction gives the opportunity to install different drive modules and opens the possibility to realize different drive concepts and system architectures. It is very important to make electrical drive technology more visible, sensible and real to experience to everybody.
