Abstract:
A novel DSP-based FWM compensation scheme for 112Gb/s CO-OFDM based on decision-feedbackaided frequency-shaped Volterra nonlinear filtering, with low O(MlogM) realization complexity, improves the worst Q-factor by ~7dB at 2000Km, outperforming a prior low-complexity nonlinear compensation scheme by ~2dB.
