Abstract:
Several electrically small antennas have been evaluated in this paper. The resonant frequency is decreased in these antennas by altering the antenna configuration with the same occupied area and wire length. In addition to resonant frequency, radiation resistance and quality factor, the cross polarization is also evaluated as an important factor in the antenna design. An attempt has been made to approach the fundamental limitations of small antennas for better characteristics while keeping the size as small as possible.
