Abstract:
The LEAT works since several years in collaboration with ENRI (Electronic Navigation Research Institute, Tokyo, Japan) at the design of an antenna for anti-collision radar on rescue helicopters. The system performs the data fusion between a millimeter-wave radar, a CCD camera and an IR camera. The antenna must be compact and light, while being large compared to the wavelength since it must be very directive.
