Abstract:
This paper presents a new approach for the design of multi-band patch antennas. Different slot configurations are considered during the antenna design based on cellular automata rules. Moreover, the fuzzy ARTMAP Neural Network is used to link the structure of the antenna to its return loss. A complete agreement was found between the simulated results, the tested data using the ARTMAP Neural Network and the measured data.
