Abstract:
This paper describes the design of two double layer frequency selective surfaces each of which can produce a differential phase shift of 180deg, as the wave propagates through the polarizer at normal incidence and thereby form the basis for a spatial phase shifter. The phase shifter operates at 325 GHz and is suitable for radiometer use for remote environmental monitoring of H2O.
