Solution to speech intelligibility improvement in mobile phones

Abstract:
The paper describes the architecture of speech audio processing modules in mobile phone for low-cost terminal. The whole set of functionality is implemented with a target of reduced computation load and reduced memory size. Equalization and dynamic range of transducers, echo cancellation, noise reduction are accordingly integrated in this solution with the focus of best compromise between quality and complexity.
