Abstract:
In this work an RFID application has been developed in which the necessary resources within an airport are successfully controlled. The system is integrated in the physical part of a structure of agents (MAS-DUO) organized in two levels: physical and information systems. Located in the level where the physical agents are found is a series of elements that will be able to gather information and carry out activities on the physical platforms. It is in this level where the Agents that control the RFID devices are found. The proposed outline in this development uses UHF readers to communicate with the identification labels. For the communication between readers, the protocol IEEE 802.15.4 at 2.45 GHz: ZigBee is used. Together with readers, the final receptors or Coordinators build up what is called the RFID Agents within the structure of agents.
