Abstract:
Polarimetric coherence signatures illustrate the dependence of interferometric coherence magnitude on parameters of the polarization ellipse. For repeat-pass interferometric schemes these signatures can distinguish land covers types due to different level of temporal decorrelation for the distributed targets of different scattering mechanisms. Examination of coherence regions in the complex unit circle is the known techniques for processing POLINSAR data. Parameterization of coherency matrix allows coherence set interpretation and scattering parameters inversion. This work aims at comparison of two methods using ALOS PALSAR quad-pol interferometric data.
