Abstract:
In the frame of a Belgo-Argentinean agreement, we developed a prototype EnviSAT SAR processor. Using our background in SAR interferometry, we adapt our Chirp-Z transform based interpolator, used in image registration, to perform range migration correction. This adaptation leads to a Range-Doppler SAR focusing processor offering potentially scalable range sampling rate. In this paper, we describe the original interpolator, we present its adaptation and implementation inside Range-Doppler focusing process.
